1) By the standards presented in the reading aren't most projects tactial media? why is a certain project tactical media and not the next?

2) Is it really possible to evoke such strong political and social conversations with a video game? (will explain more in class)

Interventionist Design

I chose mitt Romney not because he is republican but rather because he is a politician. The opinions displayed are that of my disgust with politics in general. However, Romney does present a rather hilarious case of political ridiculousness. Between doing his best to act southern and getting caught driving with a dog on his roof Romney sums up why i hate politics so much.

Mario Movie II

I chose the Mario Movie by Archangel because i felt that the piece had a larger emphasis on the music. This is most likely because Archangel was also a musician. I went with a more modern Mario character to change it up. I tried to keep the feel of the piece similar but had some trouble with the animation side.

For whatever reason this piece evoked a lot of emotion. I actually feel his sadness because his game is in fact falling apart. As a kid I had a hard time being alone and this piece hit hard with me.

I apologize for going back to the computer, but i felt that i wouldn't play a good Mario.

1)What is the next step in the progression of Art. We started with illusionism, now we continue on to minimalism. With the progression of technology will we return to illusionism when the technology is great enough to fake illusionism?

2)This article, again, begs the question: What is art? by these standards is every commercial and terrible reality TV show art?

Animation with sound

I didn't add the drone because i feel we can't start the drone at the beginning of every animation. It should be added in after on top of all the animations once we have them all. I feel that would be easier to loop.

Animation for montage

  I decided to go away from the larger montage and focus on Rosie the riveter. I did this because i find that she is an a iconic symbol in American history and it would be fun to have a zombie bite off her head. I had the zombie in there because the previous animation is Aimee's (all zombies).
